The Quick Guide – wet concrete is poured into the excavated area and a set of mats / moulds that have the pattern built into them are pushed into the concrete when it is at the right consistency so that the concrete is imprinted with the pattern of your choice.
Coloured powder is applied to the surface of the concrete so that you end up with both the pattern and colour of your choice. Easy!!?
Okay, in reality it’s hugely more complicated, delicate and specialised than that and does require a high degree of expertise to carry out successfully; but that’s our job, and we love it! (See “The Process”)
Our Design Consultants will be able to help you make a choice that best suits your property and landscape but ultimately the choice is yours – and the number of options available to you is huge.
It is well worth browsing through this section to get an idea of what is available. Just click on any of the patterns and colours shown in the charts below to see an example of an installation done using those styles.
In reality you can combine almost any colour and pattern shown and even create some of your own unique artistry by adding in shapes, patterns and colours outside the norm if that takes your fancy.
